This week has been a full week of camp training, painting, painting, building, decorating, creating, painting .... and MORE painting. All things to turn Willow Creek Baptist Church into Willow Creek Sadle Riddle Ranch! The kids arrive on Monday but its been amazing week to see what God is doing and getting ready to have all these kids rock up. The boys have been amazing and constructed a very large and lifelike barn and turned the stage into the wild wild west. Been really cool to hang out with the team and see what's going to happen this summer.
Its been SUPER humid, and since it doesnt get dark until about 9.30pm its getting harder and harder to motivate myself to keep running every other day. Am feeling so blessed to have this experience and am enjoying the beautiful lakes around this town. Not to mention a Tim Horton on every corner with these amazing chocolate chunk cookies that are a definite fave of mine. Am missing Yaroomba beach and the local residents (my dearest fam van dam) but life is good.
